Perth Scorchers win a record-extending sixth Big Bash title

Perth bowled Sydney Sixers out for 132 and completed the chase with 15 balls remaining in front of a record home crowd at Optus Stadium.

Perth Scorchers defeated Sydney Sixers by six wickets to win BBL|15. David Payne took 3-18 as the Sixers were dismissed for 132, before Mitchell Marsh made 44 and Finn Allen 36 in an 80-run opening partnership.

Josh Inglis finished unbeaten on 29 and struck the winning six with 15 balls left. A crowd of 55,018 watched Perth claim a sixth title, extending the club's record as the competition's most successful team.
