Stella Chesang won the Osaka Women's Marathon in 2:19:31, improving her personal best in one of Japan's longest-running elite women-only road races. The Ugandan made the decisive move during the closing kilometres and maintained her pace to the finish.

The race brought an international elite field onto Osaka's city course while also serving as an important domestic selection and performance benchmark. Marathon results must be read alongside course, weather, pacing and recovery context rather than finishing time alone.
