UEFA sets its 50th Congress and Nations League draw
European football's governing body placed governance and the 2026–27 league-phase draw on one Brussels programme.
UEFA announced that its 50th Ordinary Congress would take place in Brussels on 12 February, following an Executive Committee meeting the previous day. The Congress programme was scheduled for the morning at Brussels Expo's Hall 3.
The 2026–27 UEFA Nations League league-phase draw was placed at 18:00 on the same date. Pairing institutional business with a major competition draw shows two sides of continental governance: member-association decision making and the public sporting calendar.
