UEFA Futsal EURO expands across three host nations
Sixteen teams began the finals in Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia, with the group stage opening in Riga on 21 January.

UEFA Futsal EURO 2026 opened in Riga with the first Group A matches and continued across Kaunas and Ljubljana. Sixteen national teams were divided into four groups, with eight progressing to the knockout stage.
The group phase ran to 29 January and the first quarterfinals arrived on 31 January. The tournament crossed into February and ended with Spain lifting the trophy.
