Around 665 athletes entered 79 medal events across six winter Para sports in Italy.

The Paralympic Winter Games opened at the Arena di Verona before competition across Milan, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Val di Fiemme.
The programme covered Para alpine skiing, Para biathlon, Para cross-country skiing, Para ice hockey, Para snowboard and wheelchair curling.
