Al Ahly won a fourth consecutive African men's club handball championship by beating Zamalek 26–25 after extra time at Kilamba Arena in Luanda on 14 October 2026. The all-Egyptian final required additional play after normal time ended 22–22, and remained level at 24–24 after the first extra-time period.

Zamalek had led 10–9 at the interval. Al Ahly recovered during the second half and secured the deciding advantage in the closing moments of the second extra-time period, according to its official match report. The result confirmed a completed title win rather than the earlier announcement of a final pairing between the two clubs.

The tournament ran from 5 to 14 October in the Angolan capital. Al Ahly had reached the final with a 38–20 semi-final victory against JSK, while Zamalek beat Petro Atlético 35–21. Those routes set up the close final, whose one-goal margin was substantially smaller than either finalist's semi-final winning margin.
