Karakurt scores 26 as Eczacıbaşı recover from two sets down
Eczacıbaşı opened their league season with a five-set win in Bursa; Uzelac and Weitzel added 18 points each.
Eczacıbaşı Peron İstanbul turned a two-set deficit into a 3–2 away victory over Nilüfer Belediyespor Eker on 3 October, beginning the 2026–27 Sultanlar Ligi season with a comeback at Bursa’s Cengiz Göllü hall.
Nilüfer took the opening sets 25–20 and 25–19. Eczacıbaşı responded with 25–18 and 25–19 wins before taking the deciding set 15–12. The club’s account confirms the recovery and the decisive fifth-set score.
