Aces beat Fever to reach an eighth straight WNBA semifinal
A’ja Wilson scored 36 points as Las Vegas won the deciding game 94-83 and closed the first-round series 2-1.

The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Indiana Fever 94-83 in the deciding game of their best-of-three first-round series. The result gave Las Vegas a 2-1 series victory and sent the defending champions to the WNBA semifinals for an eighth consecutive season.
A’ja Wilson led all scorers with 36 points and added 10 rebounds and two blocked shots. Chelsea Gray scored 23 points with five assists, while Jackie Young finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists after playing all 40 minutes.
Indiana’s season ended despite 23 points from Kelsey Mitchell and a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double from Aliyah Boston. Las Vegas will face the winner of the Golden State Valkyries–Dallas Wings first-round series; that opponent was not yet confirmed in the official recap.
