FIVB confirmed on 1 October that Montreal and Quebec City will be the Canadian host cities for the 2027 Women’s Volleyball World Cup. They join Omaha, Orlando and Anaheim in the first edition of the tournament to be staged in North America.

The 32-team competition will run from 20 August to 5 September 2027. Montreal and Quebec City will host pool play and the round of 16 from 20 to 28 August, alongside Omaha and Orlando, before the quarterfinals, semifinals and final move to Anaheim.

The three highest-ranked teams in the tournament that have not already qualified for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games will earn Olympic places. Canada has already secured its LA28 berth, so the announcement concerns hosting and competition structure rather than a new qualification result.
