Aichi-Nagoya 2026 organisers reported 317 records across the Asian Games competition programme through 4:50pm Japan time on 29 September. The official total included 53 world records, 76 Asian records and 166 Asian Games records.

The update also counted 11 world junior records and 11 Asian junior records. Organisers highlighted shooting, weightlifting, swimming, athletics, track cycling and archery among the sports contributing to the record total.

These figures are an interim official snapshot, not the final record count. Competition continues until the closing day on 4 October, so the published totals may increase.
