Chen Yiwen retains Asian Games 3m springboard title

Chen Yiwen retained the Asian Games women's 3m springboard title at Tokyo Aquatic Centre on 30 September. The Chinese diver finished on 358.05 points, 10.60 clear of teammate Chen Jia.

Japan's Sayaka Mikami took bronze with 332.35 points. Chen Jia led before the penultimate round, but Chen Yiwen moved ahead with a 79.05-point fourth dive and protected the advantage in the final round.

The result completed a second individual-and-synchronised springboard double for Chen Yiwen, who achieved the same combination at Hangzhou 2022. The scores and medal order were published by the Olympic Council of Asia and independently listed by NDTV's Asian Games results service.
