Ethiopia took both elite running titles at the Berlin Marathon on 27 September. The organiser's published results list Tigst Assefa as the women's winner in 2:11:04 and Guye Adola as the men's winner in 2:02:50.

World Athletics reported that Assefa's time was the third-fastest women's marathon performance in history. Adola regained the Berlin title he first won in 2021, adding to his Rotterdam victory earlier this year.

These are completed race results. The winning times, rather than a projected pace during the race, determine the outcome; Assefa's performance was not a new world record.
