Berfu Cengiz won the Türk Telekom Ankara Open singles title after coming back to defeat Serbia's Teodora Kostovic 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 in the WTA 125 final. The result completed Cengiz's unbeaten week in the Turkish capital.
Cengiz had reached her first WTA 125 singles final without dropping a set. After losing the opener, she levelled the championship match and then took the deciding set 7-5 to secure the title.
The completed score is listed in the official WTA draw and was independently reported by Demirören News Agency. This is a material final result following iintroo's earlier report on Cengiz reaching the championship match.
