George Russell won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix from pole position, holding Max Verstappen behind him after a late Safety Car reduced the finish to a one-lap sprint. The official winning margin was 0.196 seconds, giving the Mercedes driver his third victory of the season.
Isack Hadjar finished third on his return to racing, 10.704 seconds behind the winner, while Kimi Antonelli recovered from 16th on the grid to take fifth. Six drivers retired from a race interrupted by two Safety Car periods.
