An independent Premier League commission has found Manchester City guilty of all charges concerning serious breaches of the league's financial rules across the 2009/10 to 2017/18 seasons. The commission also upheld three of four alleged breaches relating to the club's duty to co-operate with the investigation.

According to the Premier League's published core findings, the commission concluded that sham commercial arrangements were used to inflate revenue and reduce costs by more than £900 million, leading to misstated accounts and substantial breaches of Premier League and UEFA spending limits.

No sporting sanction has yet been imposed. That question will be considered at a separate private hearing. Manchester City has said it will challenge the findings, and the Premier League states that the club has until 2 October to file an appeal.
