Spain won the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup after defeating defending champions DPR Korea 4-3 in a penalty shootout in Łódź. The final remained goalless through 120 minutes before goalkeeper Laia López saved two penalties and Spain converted all four of its attempts.

The title is Spain's second at this level, following the 2022 triumph. Spain completed the tournament under head coach David Aznar and recovered the crown from the team that had won the 2024 edition.

FIFA's official match report confirms the 0-0 score and 4-3 shootout. The Spanish federation also recorded Pau Comendador as Golden Boot winner, Laia López as Golden Glove winner and Rosalía Domínguez as the tournament MVP.
