Wang completes triple gold as Chen wins Asian Games platform title
Wang Zongyuan won the men's 3m springboard and Chen Yuxi took the women's 10m platform in Tokyo.
Wang Zongyuan completed a three-title campaign at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games by winning the men's 3m springboard at Tokyo Aquatic Centre on 29 September. His 494.40 points placed him ahead of Chinese teammate Zheng Jiuyuan, who scored 419.75.
Wang's latest victory followed gold in the individual 1m springboard and the synchronised springboard event with Zheng. In the women's 10m platform final, Chen Yuxi won with 432.65 points, ahead of Lu Wei on 385.40.
Chen added the individual title to her earlier synchronised platform gold with Lu. The two completed finals extended China's successful diving campaign; they do not represent the outcome of the remaining events. The Olympic Council of Asia published separate official reports for both finals.
