The final result
Varvara Zelenskaya finished first in the women's European Cup downhill at Tignes on 5 January 2000. Her 1:15.57 was 0.19 seconds quicker than Switzerland's Jeanette Collenberg. Italy's Romina Dei Cas completed the podium, only four hundredths behind Collenberg and 0.23 seconds from the winner.
Michaela Kofler, who had won the preceding day's separate downhill, finished fourth at 0.36 seconds. Martina Lechner was fifth, another hundredth back, while Veronika Thanner took sixth at 0.49. Those positions show a tightly grouped chasing field, with the first six racers finishing within half a second of Zelenskaya.
The final result completed the two downhill races included in the official Tignes European Cup event listing. It was a new race classification rather than an amended version of the 4 January result. Zelenskaya moved from second in the opener to first in this competition, while Collenberg improved from fifth to second; both comparisons are supported by the two official result sheets.
