The final result

Henna Raita won the women's European Cup slalom in Krieglach on 15 January 2000 with a final total of 1:30.69. Austria's Carolina Waidhofer-Dummer finished second at 0.73 seconds, narrowly ahead of Britain's Emma Carrick-Anderson in third at 0.76. Three hundredths separated the two racers behind Raita.

Slovenia's Urška Hrovat took fourth, 0.87 seconds from the winner. Sweden's Malin Hultdin was fifth at 1.25, followed by Japan's Noriyo Hiroi at 1.31. The first six positions represented six different national teams, while only the first four racers remained within one second of Raita's winning total.

The race opened the two women's slaloms listed for Krieglach's European Cup meeting, with a separate competition on 16 January. Raita's first-place finish therefore concerns the opening final classification rather than a combined weekend result. Carrick-Anderson's third place was the British result on the podium, secured despite Hrovat finishing just 0.11 seconds behind her in the contest for that position.
