The final result
Evi Sachenbacher won the women's 15km classical race at the FIS Junior World Ski Championships in Štrbské Pleso on 30 January 2000. The German's 50:48.1 gave her a 28.6-second advantage over Ekaterina Stchastlivaia. Pirjo Manninen was third at 31.8 seconds, just 3.2 behind the second-place finisher.
The contemporary official protocol records two 7.5km laps on the Cervena track, with Sachenbacher leading the intermediate split in 24:52.1. Sweden's Carin Holmberg finished fourth at 37.7 seconds. Elena Kolomina was fifth for Kazakhstan at 1:17.3, followed by Sweden's Mariana Handler at 1:22.2. The first four were contained within 38 seconds of the winning time.
This classical race followed separately classified freestyle interval and sprint competitions at the junior championships. The original scanned protocol confirms the 15km distance, 30 January date and 09:00:30 start, alongside the final podium. It also preserves the historic national codes. Sachenbacher's first place is therefore documented as the result of this completed race, with the original event date distinct from the later archive publication.
