The IJF appointed Arman Abeuov to head its Military Commission within the federation’s Military and Police Commission structure. The role concerns the promotion and implementation of judo within service institutions internationally.

Based in Astana, Abeuov chaired the Sports Committee of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Defence Central Sports Club, a position held since May 2023. His work included armed forces physical training and preparing athletes for national and international military competitions.

Abeuov also brought competitive judo experience, including Asian and Kazakhstan titles and veterans world championship victories in 2022 and 2024. The appointment expanded his responsibilities from national military sports administration into the IJF’s international framework.
