Georgia Adderley and Nardine Garas reached the Richardson Wealth Women’s Open final in Vancouver. Garas defeated fellow Egyptian Menna Walid 11–9, 11–9, 9–11, 11–9 in forty-six minutes, with every game decided by a two-point margin at the Canadian Copper tournament.

Adderley progressed when Kiera Marshall retired during their semifinal. The Scottish top seed had won the first two games 11–3 and 11–4 and led 8–1 in the third when injury ended the match after twenty-three minutes of play.

The results placed the top two seeds together in the championship match. Garas had needed a particularly close fourth game to stop Walid’s recovery after losing the third, while Adderley reached the final following a shorter contest against the English player.
