Source publication date:
The PSA Squash Tour Finals were awarded to Paris for the first time, with Centquatre-Paris scheduled to host on 17–20 June. Sixteen players would compete at the arts venue, returning the season-ending event to Europe for its first staging there since 2013.
PSA planned to co-promote the tournament with the Paris Squash Project, supported by the French Squash Federation. The competition would feature eight men and eight women, moving from the customary group stage to straight knockout matches seeded by the Road to Tour Finals standings.
Every match was to use best-of-five scoring. Total player compensation was $710,000, with champions able to earn a maximum fifteen hundred bonus ranking points. Mostafa Asal and Hania El Hammamy had already secured places through their Diamond-level Egyptian Open titles earlier in the season.
