Afraa Mohammad makes her refugee-team competition debut
She finished 59th among 66 women at Barcelona’s European Boulder event.

Afraa Mohammad made her first competition appearance as a member of the World Climbing refugee team at the European Boulder Championships in Barcelona. The federation reported the debut on 20 July.
Mohammad finished 59th in a field of 66 women. Her appearance placed her in the same competition as established international climbers, including Oriane Bertone and Camilla Moroni.
The federation’s report presented the debut as an important step in access to elite competition and recorded Mohammad’s response to taking part. It did not announce an Olympic place or a future Series result. This archive entry concerns her verified competition appearance, rather than her earlier selection for the team.
