Johannes Aigner and guide Nico Haberl secured the men’s vision impaired downhill World Cup globe with two victories in Tignes. The Austrian pair earned their thirteenth and fourteenth gold medals of the campaign, taking their season podium total to seventeen.

Neil Simpson, guided by Andrew Simpson, took silver in both races, and Hyacinthe Deleplace with Gauthier de Tessières finished third twice. Slovakia’s Alexandra Rexová and guide Sophia Polák won the corresponding women’s vision impaired downhill races.

The planned final super-G competitions were cancelled because of snow conditions, leaving two downhill race days at the penultimate Para Alpine World Cup stop. The races provided the competitors’ last downhill World Cup starts before the March Paralympic Winter Games.
