Keeling and Pinto win Fortaleza Ocean Racing World Cup

South Africa’s Mark Keeling won the men’s surfski single at the Fortaleza Canoe Ocean Racing World Cup in 1:49:11.054. Brazil’s Alexandre Felipe Nascimento Ferreira took silver in 1:54:45.859, followed by Luiz Wagner Pecoraro in 1:55:45.109.
Ariela Pinto led a Brazilian sweep of the women’s podium. Her 2:26:17.757 winning time put her ahead of Mariana Muriel Victorio Falconi in 2:27:01.007 and Bruna De Abreu Liborio in 2:30:30.460. Keeling’s victory prevented the hosts from taking both senior titles.
