Albufeira replaces Stockerau on European youth calendar
The Portuguese city will stage the third JOOLA Europe Youth Series event in May.

ETTU confirmed Albufeira as host of the third JOOLA Europe Youth Series event of 2026. The Portuguese tournament was scheduled for 21–25 May at Pavilhao Desportivo de Olhos de Agua following a change to the circuit’s original calendar and host arrangements.
The Austrian federation informed ETTU on 28 January that venue-related issues prevented it from organising the planned event in Stockerau. ETTU then approached Portugal’s bid, which had been the next unsuccessful proposal considered for the 2026 series.
After agreement on revised dates, the new location was confirmed in February. Faro was designated as the official airport, providing the travel reference for teams and players preparing to attend the relocated youth competition.
