Source publication date:
Eastbourne Borough came from behind to defeat Maidstone United 3–1, with George Alexander scoring twice. Leo Hamblin had put the visitors ahead in the fourth minute, squeezing the ball beneath goalkeeper Woody Williamson for his first Maidstone goal.
Alexander levelled shortly after the restart, converting a rebound after Nathan Harness saved Maxwell Mullins's attempt. Williamson then made important stops at the other end, including efforts from Jephte Tanga and substitute Riley Court.
The hosts settled the match with two goals in three minutes late on. Alexander finished another attack in the 83rd minute before Kai Corbett took advantage of a defensive mix-up to score in the 86th. John Gilbert later hit the crossbar for Maidstone.
