Alfie Rutherford commits to Dorking through 2028
The striker signed a new two-year agreement after scoring nine times this season.

Dorking Wanderers announced a new two-year contract for striker Alfie Rutherford, committing his future to the club until at least summer 2028. The 25-year-old said he valued his connection with the supporters and appreciated the manager's continued trust.
Rutherford joined before the 2020/21 season after playing for Moneyfields, Bognor Regis Town and Havant & Waterlooville. He scored 30 goals in Dorking's 2021/22 promotion campaign, earning the Golden Boot during a significant season for the club.
Despite injury interruptions, he had contributed nine goals in 20 appearances this season when the extension was announced. Chairman and manager Marc White praised his loyalty and highlighted the continuity represented by a deal extending a long-standing relationship.
