Alfreton equaliser leaves Chester with a point
Four goals produced a 2–2 draw at the Deva Stadium.

Chester drew 2–2 with Alfreton Town after Jo Cummings scored the visitors' second-half equaliser. The home side had recovered from conceding first to lead at the interval, but could not find a winning goal after being pegged back.
Josh Ayres opened the scoring following a corner in the 28th minute. Fin Shrimpton answered from Michael Kelly's corner, and Connor Woods converted a penalty after Lewis Leigh was fouled to give Chester a 2–1 halftime advantage.
Cummings levelled shortly after the restart with a low finish. Chester subsequently threatened through Shrimpton, Phil Croker and Leigh, while Tom Leak hit the underside of the crossbar. Nathan Woodthorpe also made an important defensive tackle as both sides sought another goal.
