Brisbane Bullets announced that Angel Reese would join their ownership group alongside Jason Levien and Ben Haan. The two-time WNBA All-Star's investment followed a visit to Australia with Reebok to promote her signature shoe and the brand's forthcoming WNBL footwear partnership.

Reese's other ventures include involvement in DC Power FC's ownership and the sports brand TOGETHXR. She also founded the Angel C. Reese Foundation in 2023, supporting girls and women through sport, education and financial literacy programmes.

Bullets chief executive Malcolm Watts said her international profile could encourage more young people in South East Queensland to engage with basketball. The ownership announcement followed Brisbane's appointment of Will Weaver as head coach and president of basketball operations, adding another element to the club's reorganisation.
