ITTF and DOSB launch Americas coaching partnership
Courses were planned for the Dominican Republic, Peru and Mexico, with German coaching expertise.

The ITTF and the German Olympic Sports Confederation launched a coach education partnership in the Dominican Republic on 8 August 2026. The announcement was published on 11 August during the ITTF’s centenary year.
The programme paired the federation’s member-association network with coaching expertise from the German Table Tennis Association. Courses were planned for the Dominican Republic, Peru and Mexico, with participation extending across the Americas.
In the Dominican Republic, education was linked to the planned ITTF-Americas Continental Development Centre. Mexico’s strand supported school participation through young coaches. The announcement described intended delivery; it should not be read as confirmation that every planned course had already finished.
