Lima refereeing seminar brings more than 80 participants together
Referees, coaches and athletes worked on consistent scoring and adjudication.

The Peruvian Judo Federation hosted the IJF Panamerican Region International Refereeing Seminar at Lima’s Videna Sports Complex on 17 August. More than 80 referees, coaches and athletes took part between the Lima Grand Prix and the cadet worlds in Ecuador.
IJF directors Armen Bagdasarov and Raul Camacho led the programme, supported by supervisors Mariano Dos Santos and Vladimer Nutsubidze and Pan-American director Gary Takemoto. The Grand Prix refereeing team remained in Lima for the seminar.
Practical and theoretical sessions focused on aligning teaching, competition practice and refereeing assessments. Federation president Maria Martinez Murciego and continental president Carlos Zegarra Presser presented participants with certificates at the conclusion.
