Amanda Anisimova and Hendrik Vleeshouwers announced the mutual end of their coaching partnership. The world number six had worked with the coach since the 2024 grass season, following her return from a tour hiatus and a rapid climb back through the rankings.
Their first season together included a Toronto final and an improvement of nearly four hundred ranking places. In 2025, Anisimova reached the Wimbledon and US Open finals and won two WTA 1000 titles, earning Vleeshouwers the tour’s Coach of the Year award.
Both praised the relationship in separate public statements announcing the decision. Anisimova had an 11–6 record in the current season, including an Australian Open quarterfinal and Dubai semifinal. Vleeshouwers previously coached Elise Mertens and Yanina Wickmayer before joining the American’s team.
