Schloesser joins Fullerton at the top of world rankings
Marcus D’Almeida also moved to first in the men’s recurve rankings.
Source publication date:
Mike Schloesser returned to number one in the compound men’s world rankings after finishing second at Nimes. He shared the position with Mathias Fullerton, with both athletes on 402 points.
Fullerton had overtaken Schloesser the previous September after winning the European Field Championships. The January update therefore produced a joint lead rather than placing Schloesser ahead of the Danish archer.
Marcus D’Almeida exchanged places with Brady Ellison to become recurve men’s number one after a bronze medal in Nimes. Andrea Becerra remained first in compound women and Kang Chaeyoung retained the recurve women’s top position.
