Arsenal reached their first Champions League final since 2006 by beating Atlético de Madrid 1-0 in London on 5 May 2026. The second-leg result completed a 2-1 aggregate success.

Bukayo Saka scored immediately before half-time, reacting to Jan Oblak’s save from Leandro Trossard. Atlético pushed for an equaliser after the interval, but Arsenal retained their clean sheet.

UEFA selected Declan Rice as player of the match. The win extended Arsenal’s unbeaten Champions League sequence to 14 matches, a club record at the time. This report records the semi-final stage; Paris Saint-Germain subsequently defeated Arsenal on penalties in the final on 30 May.
