Asal and El Hammamy head Optasia draws
The defending champions were confirmed as top seeds for the March event in Wimbledon.

Mostafa Asal and Hania El Hammamy were confirmed as top seeds for the Optasia Championships in Wimbledon. The defending champions led draws containing twelve of the men’s top twenty and nine of the women’s top twenty for the 24–29 March Gold-level event.
Nour ElSherbini entered the tournament for the first time as women’s second seed. Former champion Satomi Watanabe and Amanda Sobhy were placed in the same quarter, while Georgina Kennedy returned after reaching the previous year’s final.
The men’s field included Karim Gawad, Diego Elias, Youssef Ibrahim and Joel Makin. English players Patrick Rooney and Sam Osborne-Wylde received wild cards, adding home representation to the confirmed lineup at The Wimbledon Club.
