UCI names final speakers for Athens mobility forum
The programme connected cycling infrastructure, city policy and the Tour of Hellas.
Event date:
The UCI confirmed the final speaker programme for its Mobility and Bike City Forum in Athens on 10–11 May. Carly Gilbert-Patrick of SLOCAT was named as a keynote speaker, with the agenda addressing everyday cycling, urban mobility and the relationship between sporting events and city investment.
The opening day was designed around Tour of Hellas activities, followed by a dinner at Athens City Hall and Bike City awards. Forum sessions on 11 May brought together cycling and municipal representatives, including contributions associated with C40 and practical discussions of infrastructure and participation.
The announcement set out a planned programme, not findings from completed sessions.
