Athletics Ireland invited clubs to host its 2026 summer camps, reporting early interest from parents around the country. Clubs were asked to register their interest and submit proposed dates through the federation’s application form.
The federation listed insurance cover for both members and non-members, a free booking system without club fees, and promotional material among the support offered. Participants were to receive a T-shirt, medal and bottle, while camp leaders could access coach education opportunities.
Inclusive funding was available to support children with additional needs. The announcement presented hosting as an opportunity to engage younger athletes and generate income for clubs, with federation staff available to answer questions about arrangements.
