Australia beat Philippines as Pepper and Krebs lead World Cup qualifying win

Australia defeated the Philippines 93–66 at the Mall of Asia Arena to remain unbeaten in Asian qualifying for the 2027 Basketball World Cup. The visitors held only a five-point halftime advantage before outscoring their hosts 55–33 across the final two quarters.
Elijah Pepper scored twenty-eight points and collected seven rebounds, while Tanner Krebs added eighteen points. The pair made nine three-pointers between them, and Australia generated twenty-nine second-chance points from eighteen offensive rebounds to extend the margin.
Justin Brownlee led the Philippines with twenty points, eight rebounds and seven assists. The report also recorded New Zealand's 99–67 victory over Guam, with Breakers centre Jack Andrew supplying twenty points and nine rebounds on nine-of-ten shooting.
