Austria won the youth mixed relay in Arber, earning its first medal of the championships and first title in that discipline. Simon Hechenberger, Matti Pinter, Ilvy Giestheuer and Selina Ganner delivered the field’s strongest shooting, using seven spare rounds without entering the penalty loop.

Norway finished second, while Finland took its first mixed relay medal at the Youth and Junior World Championships through bronze. The team programme followed the opening individual events as further nations reached the podium at the Hohenzoller Arena in sunny conditions.

Latvia won the junior mixed relay through Matiss Meirans, Rihards Lozbers, Elza Bleidele and Estere Volfa. Their course speed contributed nearly a minute over Norway’s combined skiing time, with France completing the podium.
