Austria won its sixth successive men’s normal hill team title at the Nordic Junior World Championships in Lillehammer. Lukas Haagen, Nikolaus Humml, Julian Auinger and Thomas Gfrerer scored 1,047.9 points across eight jumps, maintaining the country’s run without individual champion Stephan Embacher in the lineup.

Germany challenged until the final jump but finished second on 1,034.4 points. Its team comprised Alex Reiter, Lasse Deimel, Yann Kullmann and Janne Holz, with Kullmann improving from 93 metres in the opening round to 98.5 in the second.

Host nation Norway took bronze on 989.2 points, finishing 7.9 ahead of Slovenia. The result delivered Norway’s first medal of the championships before the mixed team contest completed the ski jumping programme.
