Austria won the men’s team ski flying World Cup in Planica with 1,439.5 points from Daniel Tschofenig, Stefan Kraft, Markus Mueller and Stephan Embacher. The result extended Austria’s winning sequence at the venue to four years, with Tschofenig celebrating victory on his twenty-fourth birthday.

Japan led for much of the wind-affected contest before finishing second on 1,425.6 points. Norway took third with 1,418, ahead of Germany on 1,374.7. Host Slovenia recovered from a difficult opening round but remained fifth before a capacity crowd of thirty thousand.
