Bangkok United hold Tampines to reach the semi-finals
A 2-2 away draw preserved Bangkok’s 4-3 aggregate advantage.

Bangkok United advanced to the AFC Champions League Two semi-finals after drawing 2-2 with Tampines Rovers in Singapore. The Thai club protected their first-leg advantage and completed a 4-3 aggregate victory at Jalan Besar Stadium.
Teerasil Dangda gave Bangkok an early lead before Trent Buhagiar equalised late in the first half. Ilias Alhaft quickly restored the visitors’ advantage with a shot from inside the penalty area, leaving Tampines needing two unanswered goals after the interval.
Koya Kazama brought the hosts level on the night as Tampines increased their pressure. Bangkok goalkeeper Patiwat Khammai made a late save from Takeshi Yoshimoto’s long-range attempt, ensuring the visitors retained the aggregate lead and their place in the last four.
