Wildwater development camp brings six nations together
Nine experienced young paddlers trained alongside the Banja Luka world championships.
Source publication date:
A development camp held from 16 to 23 May in Banja Luka brought together nine paddlers from six countries alongside the Wildwater Canoeing World Championships. Estonia, Romania, Hungary, North Macedonia, Brazil and Senegal were represented.
Vedran Soskan led the programme with Matyas Olsak and Frantisek Salaj. The participants already had paddling experience; sessions focused on preparation for wildwater competition, teamwork and shared learning.
Daniela Sofia and Milena Sofia both reached the women’s canoe sprint final. The federation reported that competitive outcome alongside the camp’s educational activities. Their participation does not establish that the camp alone caused the result or prove a long-term performance effect.
