Barcelona returned to first place in La Liga by beating Levante 3-0 at Spotify Camp Nou. Marc Bernal and Frenkie de Jong scored before half-time, with Fermin Lopez adding a late third as Hansi Flick’s side recovered from their defeat at Girona.

Bernal opened the scoring after four minutes from Eric Garcia’s delivery. Joao Cancelo struck the post and then supplied De Jong for the second goal. Levante remained a threat, including an attempt from Jon Olasagasti that required a strong Joan Garcia save.

Fermin settled the match with a powerful shot in the 81st minute. Pedri also returned to action after injury, giving Barcelona an additional boost as they reclaimed top spot following Real Madrid’s defeat at Osasuna.
