Barcelona’s six-minute burst defeats DUX Logrono
Julia, Kika and Lopez scored after a goalless first half.

Barcelona Women beat DUX Logrono 3-0 at Las Gaunas after scoring three times in six second-half minutes. The result gave Pere Romeu’s side eighteen victories from nineteen league matches, while Ona Batlle made her hundredth appearance for the club.
A well-organised Logrono defence kept the first half goalless despite Barcelona creating opportunities. Carla Julia finally broke the deadlock in the fiftieth minute by converting Caroline Graham Hansen’s cross. Kika Nazareth doubled the lead two minutes later from Vicky Lopez’s pass.
Lopez then scored the third from a rebound in the 56th minute. Adriana and Maria Lorella made league debuts, and Barcelona dedicated the victory to injured teammate Laia Aleixandri and bereaved teammate Marta Torrejon.
