Belgium wins first women's EURO qualifier as Iceland upsets Montenegro
Germany, Sweden and Spain extended perfect starts, while Spain's new coach began with an away victory.

Belgium earned its first women's EURO qualifying victory by edging North Macedonia 26–25. Munia Smits scored eleven goals, and Fien Boons delivered the winner with just over a minute remaining as the hosts recovered from repeated deficits.
Iceland also celebrated a narrow result, defeating previously unbeaten Montenegro 28–27. Elín Klara Þorkelsdóttir scored twelve, including nine after half-time, while the Faroe Islands beat Portugal 25–21 in the same group.
Germany, Sweden and Spain each maintained perfect records. Germany won 30–23 in Slovenia, Sweden beat Serbia 29–26, and Spain's 29–24 comeback in Austria gave new coach Joaquín Rocamora a successful debut. Nathalie Hagman reached her thousandth Sweden goal during that round.
