Anaïs Bescond described adapting her coaching to Benjamin Daviet and Karl Tabouret before the Paralympic Winter Games. The French team pairs a thirty-six-year-old multiple champion with a twenty-two-year-old preparing for his first Games, bringing contrasting experience and approaches into the same training environment.

Bescond said her work with Daviet depends on exchanging ideas and developing solutions together. Tabouret receives more direct instructions and technical exercises as he builds self-analysis, while training beside Daviet offers a model of shooting rhythm and composure under competitive pressure.

Tabouret joined French para Nordic camps in 2019 after starting in cross-country skiing at Les Saisies. He identified technical progress on snow and at the range as goals alongside hopes of a podium finish.
