Isobel Borlase won the WNBL’s Suzy Batkovic MVP award after finishing the regular season as its leading scorer. The Bendigo Spirit guard averaged 22.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 45.6 per cent from the field.

Borlase, an Olympic bronze medallist and 2024 WNBA draft selection, became the award’s youngest winner in more than a decade. She also joined Anneli Maley, Ally Wilson, Mackenzie Holmes and Courtney Woods in the All-WNBL First Team.

The ceremony at the Australian Museum recognised additional winners including Bendigo coach Kennedy Kereama and defensive player Han Xu. The league’s announcement preceded the finals, with Bendigo scheduled to face Perth and Townsville meeting Southside Melbourne in the opening semifinal matches.
